SCALANCE MUM856-1 supports 4G as well as 5G. In an IP65 enclosure, the device was developed for applications in demanding industrial environments and can be used in both public and private 5G campus networks.

- Systematic testing of design and materials via the "Highly Accelerated Life Test" (HALT), which simulates an accelerated product life cycle through planned overloading

Antennas for public and private 5G networks:
Please note that an antenna must always be connected to the antenna connectors A1 and A2. The antenna connectors A3 and A4 can be connected to an antenna when higher download speeds are to be achieved.
