INSYS icom Industrial Routers and Secure Remote Access
IndustrialComms is a UK distributor of INSYS icom, the German manufacturer of industrial routers and secure remote access solutions. We supply the MRX, MIRO, ECR and SCR router families for connecting remote machines, plants and critical infrastructure over 4G and 5G, DSL, fibre, WiFi or LAN, including LTE450 for utility networks.
Every router is DIN rail mounted, rated for extended temperature and built around icom OS, a hardened operating system developed specifically for critical infrastructure. Serial RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces plus digital and analogue I/O allow existing PLCs, RTUs and sensors to be reached remotely without replacing field equipment. Security is designed in rather than added on. INSYS icom develops to IEC 62443, runs its cloud services from ISO 27001-certified data centres, and commissions independent penetration testing.
