RailTrack is a ruggedized WiFi access point specifically designed for the railway industry and certified for ground and tunnel infrastructures. It can be connected to the ground network via Gigabit fiber or copper connections. Thanks to an oversized CPU architecture (Quad-Core 64-bit) and three independent high-speed 802.11ac radio cards (3T3R) delivering more than 900 Mbps (UDP) each, the RailTrack access point allows the construction of high-performance architectures (wireless backbone) to eliminate Ethernet cabling along tracks and tunnels.
Ideal applications: Harsh Environments, Railway (ground infrastructure only).
