Hirschmann BOBCAT Series is a range of Next Generation Compact Managed Switches with Ethernet speeds up to 2.5 Gigabit
The BobCat range is available in a number of different versions:
- BRS20 Series of Fast Ethernet switches with built-in fiber-optic ports and SFP port options
- BRS30 series of Fast Ethernet switches with Gigabit Uplink SFP port options
- BRS40 series All Gigabit Ethernet switches with SFP Uplink ports
- BRS50 series offers All Gigabit ports with SFP Uplink ports and the option to run the Uplink ports at 2.5Gigabit speed for increased throughput
- BRS22 series has same features as the BRS20 series but offers PoE capability on all non-Uplink RJ45 ports
- BRS32 series has same features as the BRS30 series but offers PoE capability on all non-Uplink RJ45 ports
- BRS42 series has same features as the BRS40 series but offers PoE capability on all non-Uplink RJ45 ports
- BRS52 series has same features as the BRS50 series but offers PoE capability on all non-Uplink RJ45 ports
FEATURES
- Advanced Security Features : Including wire-speed access control lists and automatic denial-of-service prevention
- High Port Density: Up to 24 ports within a compact housing to connect a growing number of network devices with SFP or copper uplink port options available.
- TSN support for Precise and Data Transmission: Simultaneously support multiple services on the network through TSN technology
- PoE Capability : Support up to 240 W across 8 PoE/PoE+ ports without load sharing to ensure high power output
- Future-Proof Design: Increased bandwidth and speed capabilities up to 2.5 Gigabits through adjustable SFPs without changing the appliance
- Standard range part numbers offers HIOS Layer 2 standard software. HIOS Layer 2 Advanced software also available
- Available in Extended Operating Temperature and Conformal Coated versions for more arduous operating environments
- Available with additional Industry sector approvals such as cUL 61010-2-201,ATEX, IECEx T, DNVGL, IEC 61850-3
